The Department for the Study of Religions at Wake Forest is a community of passionate scholars and students devoted to the exploration and analysis of religion as a central aspect of human culture and history. When you study religion, you engage with the deepest motivations and values of individuals and institutions--in the past and in the present. Together with amazing professors, students wrestle with ethical questions, reconstruct religious histories, examine interdisciplinary intersections, and develop their own set of analytical skills. We offer a diverse range of courses, a graduate program, an honors program, a concentration in Religion & Public Engagement, scholarly lectures, and a vibrant community of learners, all of which provide students with an exciting and wholistic way to experience Religious Studies and prepare to engage the world in a variety of meaningful ways
